Ice & Water Shield Cost Per Roll: A Wholesale Buyer's Breakdown
Use the published US-format IW FOB reference, gross coverage and pallet quantity to build a like-for-like wholesale cost comparison.
Identify the roll behind the price
Match the product code, construction, width, length, supporting documents and packing before comparing prices. A price difference does not establish which product is suitable, and greater thickness alone does not prove better installed performance.
Use the published US format only for the corresponding IW quotation. Do not transfer its price or the 44-roll pallet quantity to another roll format.

A transparent calculation using the published reference
The following is arithmetic using the existing FOB reference, not a market-average price, firm sales offer or delivered-cost estimate. Gross area is the full roll area before project laps and cutting.
Use the exact quotation for the actual product and order. If pricing is provided per square metre and per roll, ask which basis the quotation uses and how rounding is handled.

Add the costs that apply to your quotation
Record the named location, delivery term, quantity, packing and quotation validity. ICC’s Incoterms overview explains that trade rules allocate defined costs, risk and obligations. A three-letter term still needs the agreed transaction details.
Identify the transport, insurance, handling and destination charges relevant to the actual offer. Check what is included before adding a cost again. Obtain applicable import and tax information for the destination rather than inserting an assumed percentage.
If comparing installed coverage, estimate the usable area from the selected roof details and keep that basis consistent. Avoid a fixed universal waste allowance.

Keep branding and order scope separate
The published standard IW starting point is one pallet of 44 US-format rolls. Private-label production starts at six pallets, with the brand setup and production scope confirmed separately.
Send your destination, quantity, intended application, product documents needed and branding request together. Ask for a quotation with inclusions and unresolved items identified so alternatives can be compared.
